Very appropriate solutions to power wireless devices, IP phones, IP cameras, etc. In case that powered device does not have a PoE extractor can be combined with passive POE splitter, see related documents..
The main advantages of this device are :
• 19" rack design
• LED control for visual monitoring of traffic
• outgoing ground component for surge filtering on the back panel
• reversible insurance against electric current fluctuation (OCP protection 650 mA) on each port
• Power input connector (2.5 mm jack center positive, 1 pcs included)
Instalation:
On the one side RJ-45 connector connects the Ethernet port, for instance switch (no power). The other side (labeled PoE) is for UTP cables, which are connected to devices that feed at the same time. Two unused pairs of the Ethernet cable are intended to supply the power. Power supply is kept in pairs 4,5 (+) and 7.8 (-).
