The tester is designed for testing the proper termination of cables and the sequence of wires in RJ-45, RJ-12, and RJ-11 connectors. The test can be conducted at two speeds. To test the cable, connect the main tester to one end of the cable and the remote tester to the other. The device housing is made of durable plastic, ensuring reliability and long-term durability.
This model does not test in pairs but checks each wire individually. For example, if only the white-orange wire is damaged, the tester will show functionality for all wires except the white-orange one.
A 9V battery, required to power the main unit, is not included in the package.
