Industrial Ethernet devices are designed for demanding operating conditions with a wide range of operating temperatures, unstable power supply and frequent vibrations. The converter is easily installed on a standard DIN rail or directly on the wall and allows the deployment of well-known Ethernet technology in industrial environments. It is also suitable for installations in outdoor cabinets with large fluctuations in operating temperatures (typically wireless and MAN ISP applications such as FTTH).
