Compact and powerful router with redundant power supply (DC jack & PoE) and Wi-Fi 6 for demanding users. The router is equipped with a dual-core ARM Qualcomm CPU (IPQ-5018), 512 MB DDR4 RAM, 128 MB NAND memory, eight GbE ports, and an SFP slot with 2.5G support. The router supports active PoE+ power supply (802.3af/at) (24-56 V) on the 1st port.
The processor and switch chip are located on the bottom side of the board - thus, the metal cover acts as a passive heatsink. Due to its compact size, up to 4 of these routers can be mounted in a single 1U slot (Rackmount kit K-79 - separately sold product).
- Replacement for the legendary RB2011 product line - improved performance, more features, and interesting quality-of-life improvements
- Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) - AX600, Dual-Chain wireless 2.4 GHz & 2× external antenna (4 dBi)
- 2 power supply options (PoE+ 802.3af/at, DC jack)
- 1× PoE input (802.3af/at) & 1× PoE output (passive PoE)
- Modern ARM processor with container support, innovative cover, increased RAM, PoE, and 2.5G SFP support
- RouterOS operating system v7 (license level - L5)
- Efficient cooling - the entire cover acts as a passive heatsink
- Possibility to mount up to 4 routers in a single 19" 1U slot (Rackmount kit K-79)
The L009 series is up to 4 times faster than RB2011 in the majority of cases and settings, from simple routing to complex bridging filters.
The heart of it all is the fast Marvell Peridot switching chip, which offers impressive 2.5-gigabit full-duplex connection to the processor on all ports except Ether1. The first port has its own gigabit full-duplex link to the ARM processor. This means countless configurations without bottlenecks!
The ARM processor architecture brings significant advantages over older MIPS-based devices, such as using all the latest features of the Linux kernel or implementing custom container projects. The combination of a modern ARM processor and a USB 3.0 port is ideal for running custom container projects. For example, you can run an ad-blocking Pi-hole or use the USB port for LTE connection via an external modem on this router.
