5G/LTE industrial LoRaWAN gateway with stable and reliable connection for deployment in IoT and Modbus applications. Thanks to LoRaWAN protocol support, it helps connect the LoRa wireless network with an IP network. The LoRa wireless network allows sensors to transmit data over extremely long distances with low power consumption.
- Global 5G NR (NSA/SA) and 4G LTE network with one SIM slot for mobile network redundancy
- GNSS location positioning with GPS/GLONASS/BeiDou/Galileo/QZSS support
- Fully compatible with LoRaWAN protocol
- 2× DI/DO, 1× RJ-45 serial port (RS-485) for Modbus applications
- Dual-WAN for failover
- Automatic switching between 5G NR and gigabit WAN network in case of failure
- Support for Planet NMS control systems and CloudViewer application
- SSL VPN and robust hybrid VPN (IPSec/PPTP/L2TP over IPSec)
- Supports connection of up to 300 end nodes
- Pre-configured standard LoRaWAN frequency bands for various countries
- AIoT network implementation support
LoRa gateway supporting LoRa and LoRaWAN standards. Transmitters (sensors) configured with LoRa devices, such as CO2 and water sensors, are built into end nodes or sensor devices that capture and transmit data to the gateway over greater distances via wireless network. This gateway can then send information via Ethernet network to a network server, which is responsible for network management functions that accordingly transmit information to individual applications.

LoRa is one of the wireless network protocols used in the Internet of Things (IoT) world.
LoRaWAN (Long Range Wide Area Network) is another low-power wireless network protocol designed for inexpensive and secure bidirectional communication in the Internet of Things. It uses the sub-1 GHz band and the transmission speed is from 0.3 kb/s to 50 kb/s.
Communication between end devices and gateways is distributed across different frequency bands and transmission rates. The choice of data rate is a compromise between communication range and message length. Individual communication streams with different transmission rates do not interfere with each other (due to spread spectrum technology) and create a set of "virtual" channels to increase gateway capacity.
To maximize end device battery life and overall network capacity, the LoRaWAN network server manages the data rate and RF output for each end device individually, through an Adaptive Data Rate (ADR) system.
LoRaWAN distinguishes several device classes:
Class A – end devices support bidirectional communication (each uplink is followed by two windows for receiving data)
Class B – in addition to the "forced" downlink of Class A, devices of this class open additional receive windows at scheduled times
Class C – receive windows are open almost continuously and close only during transmission
