Installation cable type "solid" is an outdoor unshielded Cat5e cable with polyethylene jacket. The cable is designed for demanding installations where regular data cable with PVC or LSOH jacket does not provide protection against environmental influences.
PE jacket provides increased resistance to weather conditions and has a long service life even in demanding conditions. Outdoor Solarix cable easily meets and also exceeds the requirements defined in international standards TIA/EIA 568, EN 50173 and ISO 11801 for Cat5e. It is therefore suitable for operation of the most demanding protocols intended for structured cabling (e.g. Gigabit Ethernet). The jacket of Solarix outdoor cable is black, its temperature resistance ranges from -20 to +70 °C. The cable is supplied in a highly durable three-layer polished cardboard box (always color-coded according to cable type), which shows all necessary product information, including barcodes, production batch, description and the most important technical parameters.
