Active USB 2.0 extension cable for connecting remote USB devices at significantly greater distances than a standard passive cable allows.
The active USB repeater cable AXAGON ADR-207 with a length of 7.5 meters amplifies the passing signal and enables reliable connection of peripheral devices such as mice, keyboards, webcams, printers, scanners, or plotters. You can further extend the range by connecting several repeater cables in series.
A major advantage of this model is the integrated connector for additional power supply, which solves potential power supply issues for devices with higher power consumption at longer distances. The exceptionally compact body of the repeater cable (74 × 22 × 13 mm) allows trouble-free use in electrical installation ducts or cable systems.

Flexible power options
In most cases, power supply via USB bus (bus-power mode 5V - 500mA) is sufficient. For devices with higher power consumption, additional external power is available using the included USB A-M / 3.5mm jack power cable with a length of 1.2 m. When powering the repeater cable with a power adapter, you can also connect an external 2.5" disk without the need for its own power supply.
Universal compatibility
The cable is fully compatible with USB 2.0 and backward compatible with USB 1.1. A standard passive USB cable can also be used after the active USB cable. It supports all common operating systems including Windows, macOS, Linux, Chrome OS, and Android without the need to install additional drivers.
