Powerful Class D digital amplifier with Wi-Fi connectivity for powering passive speakers and creating a smart home audio system.
Sonos Amp combines a top-tier digital amplifier with 125W per channel with advanced network features for music streaming and multiroom listening. The amplifier supports 8 Ω and 4 Ω speakers and allows parallel connection of two pairs of 8 Ω speakers to expand the audio system.
Thanks to the HDMI ARC connector, the Amp can be connected to a TV to create a home theater with your own speakers. The analog RCA input allows connection of a turntable, CD player, or other audio sources. The integrated auto-sensing subwoofer output automatically adjusts the frequency response when an active subwoofer is connected.

Flexible placement and installation
The Amp can be placed horizontally on a stable surface or mounted in a 19" rack. For rack mounting, two Amps can be placed side by side in 2U space or four units in 3U space. When placed on a shelf, maintain at least 76 mm of free space on all sides.
Advanced network features
The amplifier supports streaming from popular services, AirPlay 2, and can be part of the Sonos multiroom system. When connected to a TV, it creates two front channels that can be supplemented with additional Sonos speakers for surround effect.
Speaker compatibility
The Amp requires passive speakers with minimum power of 125W for 8 Ω or 200W for 4 Ω variants. It does not support speakers with impedance lower than 4 Ω. Series connection of speakers is not recommended due to sound quality degradation.
