The Teltonika RUTX50 is an industrial 5G router with Sub-6GHz SA/NSA network support, download speeds of up to 3.3 Gbps, and dual SIM slots for automatic connection failover.
The router features 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports (4× LAN, 1× WAN configurable as LAN), dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11b/g/n/ac Wave 2, MU-MIMO, up to 867 Mbps), and GNSS support (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS). The cellular module operates on 5G NR SA/NSA networks, is backward compatible with LTE Cat 20 (up to 2.0 Gbps DL) and 3G. Dual SIM enables automatic switchover upon weak signal, data limit reached, roaming, or network failure.
The device runs on the RutOS operating system (OpenWrt) and supports an extensive range of VPN protocols (OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard, ZeroTier, GRE, L2TP, PPTP, SSTP, DMVPN), industrial protocols MODBUS, OPC UA, DNP3, DLMS/COSEM, and cloud platforms including Azure IoT Hub, AWS IoT Core, ThingWorx, and Cumulocity. The aluminum enclosure with IP30 rating is designed for DIN rail or wall mounting and withstands temperatures from –40 to +75 °C.

Network Security and Management
The router features a firewall with preconfigured rules, DMZ, NAT/NAT64, protection against DDoS attacks (SYN flood, SSH, HTTP/HTTPS), and port scanning. Authentication supports pre-shared keys, X.509 digital certificates, TACACS+, and internal and external RADIUS servers. Access can be controlled independently for SSH, web interface, CLI, and Telnet. A certificate manager is included for creating CA, server, client, and SCEP certificates.
Inputs, Outputs, and USB
The 4-pin power connector provides 1 digital input (0–6 V = logic 0, 8–30 V = logic 1) and 1 open-collector digital output (max. 30 V / 300 mA). The USB 2.0 port supports connection of external HDDs, flash drives, printers, additional modems, or USB-to-serial adapters; supported file systems: FAT, FAT32, exFAT, NTFS (read-only), ext2, ext3, ext4.
