Professional isolated DC/DC converter Victron Orion-Tr 48/48V-6A (280 W) offers a range of unique features and simple installation.
Remote on/off control
The remote on/off terminal eliminates the need for a high-current switch in the input wiring. Remote on/off can be controlled using a low-current switch or, for example, an engine start/stop switch (see diagram below).
Parallel operation
All models are short-circuit proof and can be operated in parallel connection to increase output power. The number of units that can be connected in parallel is unlimited.
IP43 protection rating
When installed with screw terminals facing downwards.
High temperature protection
Output current is reduced at high ambient temperature.
Quick and easy installation
Classic screw terminals are available for cable connection, so you won't need any special tools to connect the converter.
Adjustable output voltage
Not intended for battery charging.
For battery charging, consider using the Orion-Tr Smart device.
