The XVR-800 model represents a powerful solution for enterprises requiring reliable and secure interconnection of distributed networks. The device offers dual 10G WAN interfaces – one 10GBase-T RJ-45 supporting speeds of 1G/2.5G/5G/10G and one 10GBase-X SFP+ for fiber optic connections over distances of up to 120 km. In addition, it features four gigabit LAN ports for local network connectivity.

The gateway supports a wide range of VPN protocols including IPSec, SSL VPN (OpenVPN), WireGuard, GRE, PPTP and L2TP with DES/3DES/AES encryption and MD5/SHA-1/SHA-256/SHA-384/SHA-512 authentication. Readiness for post-quantum cryptography (PQC TLS) ensures long-term protection against future threats. The device achieves VPN throughput of up to 1.3 Gb/s and NAT throughput of up to 9 Gb/s.

High Availability and Redundancy
Dual WAN interfaces allow configuration of automatic failover with selectable link priority. In the event of a primary connection failure, the secondary WAN instantly takes over traffic without interrupting communication. The load balancing feature distributes traffic across both links to maximize capacity utilization.

Flexible Fiber Optic Connectivity
The SFP+ slot supports a wide range of optical modules for various distances: multimode fiber 550 m to 2 km, singlemode and WDM fiber 10 km to 120 km. This enables connection to backbone switches or monitoring centers over long distances.

Centralized Wi-Fi Management
The integrated AP controller, captive portal, RADIUS server and DHCP server eliminate the need for external servers. Administrators can centrally manage PLANET Smart APs, configure SSIDs, radio channel settings and security policies. A four-step setup enables rapid deployment of profiles to multiple access points simultaneously.

Advanced Security Features
In addition to the SPI firewall and DoS/DDoS protection, the device offers content filtering, MAC and IP filtering, NAT ALG for SIP/RTSP/FTP/H.323/TFTP and protection against SYN/ICMP flooding attacks. The option to disable NAT allows operation in pure routing mode for advanced network scenarios.

Management and Monitoring
Web interface via HTTPS, support for SNMPv1/v2c/v3, PLANET Smart Discovery utility and compatibility with the PLANET NMS System and CloudNMS platform. The dashboard provides a real-time overview of system status, while SFP-DDM enables monitoring of optical parameters.
