The Ubiquiti UFiber Loco is an optical network unit capable of delivering transmission speeds of up to 2.488 Gbps for downlink (1.244 Gbps for uplink) over a distance of up to 20 km. It features three status LED indicators to display ethernet connection, received signal strength, and power status. The UFiber Loco can be powered in two ways: included in the package is a micro USB adapter providing 5 V DC, and when an electrical outlet is not available, the unit can be powered via passive PoE (24 V, pairs 4, 5+ and 7, 8-).
