Advanced MPPT controller with a maximum tracking efficiency of 99.5% and a conversion efficiency of 98.2% for efficient battery charging from solar panels.

The TRC5215 controller from the TRC series utilizes a new generation MPPT algorithm that significantly improves tracking accuracy and response speed, reduces power losses, and increases DC/DC conversion efficiency. It supports automatic 12/24 V battery voltage detection and allows direct load powering via the battery port at sufficient solar panel output through the battery-free mode.
The low-power design significantly reduces standby mode consumption to less than 10 mA, extending standby duration. The controller offers flexible communication interfaces with three optional combinations: 2× RS-485, RS-485 + CAN (RV-C), and RS-485 + LIN (CI-BUS). Isolated RS-485 interface and short-circuit protection enhance system reliability. Optional 4G/Wi-Fi modules enable remote monitoring, and the communication port can be enabled or disabled as needed.

Wide Battery Compatibility
The system supports various battery types including LiFePO4, AGM, Gel, and flooded batteries. Stable automatic activation of lithium batteries ensures reliable operation even at low state of charge.
Operating Conditions
The controller operates in a temperature range of -30 °C to +60 °C without derating at temperatures up to 40 °C. IP32 protection rating is suitable for installation in a sheltered environment. Maximum altitude without derating is 2,000 m; derating is required above this value.
