The UniFi Cloud Gateway Max is equipped with one WAN port (2.5 GbE RJ-45) and four LAN ports (2.5 GbE RJ-45), providing high-speed connectivity necessary to support most bandwidth-intensive applications. It excels as a compact network security solution, offering a comprehensive set of features to minimize threats, including intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), content filtering, and traffic segmentation based on VLANs.
To manage and use all the configuration options, the UniFi UXG routers must be adapted to the UniFi Cloud Key Gen2/Gen2 Plus, UniFi Cloud Key Enterprise console or the UniFi Network Server software, which can be downloaded from the official Ubiquiti download website.
