Compact and powerful UniFi gateway with a complete set of advanced routing and security features. Compared to the USG model, the UXG Lite offers 10 times the routing performance.
The UXG Lite is equipped with a WAN port (GbE RJ-45) and a LAN port (GbE RJ-45), providing high-speed connectivity needed to support most bandwidth-intensive applications. It also stands out as a compact network security solution, offering a complete set of features to minimize threats, including intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), content filtering, and traffic segmentation based on VLANs. To manage and use all the configuration options, the UniFi UXG routers must be adapted to the UniFi Cloud Key Gen2/Gen2 Plus, UniFi Cloud Key Enterprise console or the UniFi Network Server software, which can be downloaded from the official Ubiquiti download website.

This device does not use UniFi OS! The router (security gateway) is managed through UniFi Network Server software installed on your computer or server. Alternatively, you can use the paid cloud Official UniFi Hosting or UniFi Cloud Key console.

The configuration and management of UniFi devices is enabled by the UniFi Network application, which is pre-installed on UniFi OS consoles (UniFi Dream Machine, Dream Router, Dream Wall, Express, Cloud Gateway Ultra, etc.). An alternative is the freely available UniFi Network Server software, designed for installation on your own computer or server (Windows, MacOS, Linux). The UniFi Network Server software is continuously improved, and therefore we always recommend using the latest version, which can be downloaded from the Ubiquiti website in the Download section.
