Ubiquiti UniFi Protect Alarm Hub Kit

Wired alarm control panel with 32 zones for premises security, powered via PoE++/PoE+++ with support for a 12 V SLA backup battery.

The Alarm Hub Kit is designed for professional security installations using wired sensors – door contacts, motion detectors, smoke detectors, and other devices. The control panel supports up to 32 supervised input zones with EOL resistor compatibility in the range of 1–5.6 kΩ, with 1 kΩ resistors included in the package. The device is integrated into the UniFi Protect application and managed centrally alongside other UniFi devices.

Power is supplied via PoE++ (60 W) or PoE+++ (90 W) through a single RJ-45 cable with no need for a separate power adapter. When a PoE+++ input is available, the control panel simultaneously charges a 12V SLA backup battery (battery not included), which automatically takes over operation during a power failure. A 12V/9Ah battery provides up to 6 hours in standby mode or up to 4 hours in active operation.

Zone supervision using EOL resistors
Without an EOL resistor, the control panel distinguishes only open/closed states. With an EOL resistor (SEOL), it can detect wire breaks, while DEOL mode with a pair of resistors additionally distinguishes a real alarm from a tamper event caused by a short circuit. Switching between SEOL and DEOL modes is performed in the UniFi Protect application for each zone individually.

Expansion with wireless sensors
The control panel features a PoE+ output designed for powering a SuperLink Gateway, which provides communication with wireless alarm devices. The SuperLink Gateway can be mounted directly on the Alarm Hub Kit enclosure door.

Software requirements
Managing the control panel requires UniFi Protect application version 7.0.88 or later. UniFi Protect mobile application for iOS version 3.3.0 or later and for Android version 3.2.0 or later.
